TV3 is making television history: in spring 2027 it brings The Voice, the world’s biggest music show format, to Estonia for the first time. The Estonian version of this global pop-culture phenomenon, The Voice Eesti, will search for new artists with exceptional voices whose talent deserves to be discovered. Over the years, the world-famous The Voice has been associated with superstars of the international music world, and its spinning chairs and legendary V hand sign have become pop-culture icons. In spring 2027, Estonia will become the 80th country to air a local version of The Voice.

The Voice Eesti offers the best in entertainment. It brings together music, talent, dedication and emotion, and creates heroes whose stories draw viewers in and keep them watching all season long! Talented singers who have spent years following The Voice only on the world’s biggest TV channels now have the chance to step onto the stage themselves!

At the heart of The Voice Eesti is where it all begins: the voice. In the opening rounds, four well-known coaches sit with their backs to the stage. They don’t know who is singing, what the singer looks like or what they do for a living, so they have to decide based only on the voice they hear. When a voice wins them over, a coach presses the button and The Voice’s most famous moment happens: the chair turns! If more than one coach turns for the same singer, the tables are turned, because the singer then chooses which coach’s team to join.

Anyone aged 16 or older is welcome to apply for The Voice Eesti, and there is no upper age limit. Contestants will be selected at open castings held at the start of the year. Over the season, four coaches will then guide the participants. Each coach picks a team, mentors and develops the artists, and fights to get their singer into the grand final. So it isn’t only the singers who compete on the show. The coaches compete too. Over the season, contestants face battle rounds, increasingly powerful stage performances, tough strategic choices, surprises and emotions, which are the things that have made The Voice one of the world’s most-loved TV shows. The first Estonian season will build up to a spectacular grand final in May 2027. During the live broadcast, the people of Estonia will decide who becomes the first-ever winner of The Voice Eesti.

The Voice Eesti gives contestants the best foundation for a successful singing career. They are taught vocal technique, performance skills, stage movement, music creation and how to find their own artistic style, along with everything else they need to break through in the professional music world.
